Let's Unpack

As you reminisce about the past, memories of lost friendships and childhood photos flood your mind.

You realize time is passing quickly, and you're not getting any younger

Your smile fades with the setting sun

Eight years ago, on this same night, you went on your first movie date.

Are you happy now, or did you stand yourself up like they did that night?

You find comfort in your bed, and your tears have become your solace.

To move on, you must leave behind the boxes of memories buried in the attic for years.

Unpacking years of trauma and learning to love yourself is the only way to deal with the life you've grown to despise.

It's not just the relationship you were in, but the life you lived.

Take it one box at a time, and the choice is yours.

Take it with you to learn and grow or leave it on the shelf to rot and burn.
